Reforming Kids

We Love Children

We love children at Reforming, and we love their Mums and Dads too! As a church we take the care of children very seriously, so that families can have lots of fun as we all live under Jesus’ care and grow to be more like Him.

Our Sunday Service has a Kids Talk during our service, and Kids Church is in the upper mezzanine rooms during the sermon. Kids Church is cared for by trained and Safe Church qualified Teachers and Assistant Teachers.

As part of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria, we have a Safe Church policy and code of conduct that we love to abide by, you can find out more here.

Jesus loves children, and we pray that many more children will grow to know and love Jesus.

Why I love Kids Church

Kids Church

Our Kids Church runs during the sermon. Children ages 3-11 are welcome to attend Kids Church where we will do craft, songs, and great Bible teaching utilising the Gospel Project for Kids resource.

We are passionate about children understanding the ‘Big Story’ of God’s Word and how every Bible story points to Jesus and our need for him as Saviour and Lord.

Mums & Bubs Room

We have a purpose designed room for mothers to be able to breastfeed in privacy whilst still also being able to see and hear the service. We have nappy change facilities in our bathrooms, microwaves in the kitchen and high chairs available. Our aim is to make families feel ‘at home’, comfortable and included so as to make gathering as a church family easier during the challenging years of little ones.

Creche

Our play pen for little ones is a great way for families with toddlers/ babies to still be part of the service while the kids have some space and toys around them. We believe children should be seen and heard, loved and cherished and so we enjoy the sound of them tinkering around at the rear of the service because it means they are with us.

Safe Church - Presbyterian Church of Victoria

In the life of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria (PCV) the Church is committed to ensuring that all of our congregations and organisations are safe in every respect for everyone within them. Safe Church PCV is the PCV’s expression of this commitment. Further, the Safe Church Policy and Code of Conduct form the foundation of this commitment. Finally, Safe Church procedure and practice are our practical outworking of this commitment. Safe Church applies to every individual, congregation and organisation within the PCV.
